Resolve Poem by Evelyn Post

Resolve

Rating: 4.8

I would not a martyr be
I'm not especially brave,
But, when I cruel injustice see,
Then, must I protest against the knave
Who this foul deed did perpetrate.
And I'll do my best to aid
The poor victims of brutal hate,
And Christian love I'll demonstrate
As best I can, as best I can,
Where'er I am, where'er I am.
