The praises of anyone he never sing
He lives in his own way and he does his own thing
There's none he looks up to and on none he looks down
The leaderless man in the ordinary town.

We all look at things one might say differently
What is great to you may not seem so to me
And what is great to me to you seems ordinary
We would seem boring if on all things we did agree

Today as I walked in the park in the rain
I thought of old fields of my past once again
In the drizzling rain birds chirped on the hedgerow
Near where the stream bank high to the river did flow.

If you cannot love yourself you cannot love anyone
By those into self loathing bad things are done
To other people and to themselves as well
Their self loathing has them in their own Earthly Hell

His legend has withstood five centuries of time
Leonardo the genius was born to create
The artist, inventor and engineer was a true great.

The changes keep happening and few things seem to last
But I am one of many who is tied to the past
And of the past the good memories with us do remain

So tiny from the ground not easy to see
