Fred Omorogbe Poems

The notice, the interest, the cautious gaze
The wish to meet; to love or hate
The clash of eyes, desires relate
Bloated with pride...The spineless state.
...

Focused on a goal with a daring purpose
Persuasive distractions frame a logo
The mistake of notice, breeds curiosity and interest
Attention changes... the Veil comes on
...

Nightfall... In fear we sprawl
Creatures crawl... In search of blood
Mystery Drums... turns on the heat
Stop! ... T' is your fast heartbeat!
...

Relationship quakes with bitter aches
I gave it all but lost to lust
My heart is shut… emotions dulled
Never again! ! ! … I moan in pain.
...

Daybreak! , The bathroom door I Face
Frustration dawns my life again
Great hunger strain, Struggles? ... No gain
Oh pain! Oh pain! ! Oh pain! ! !
...

In search of happiness
Sorrow creeps in… slowly
Like a thief at night… taking over my life.
I’m caught unaware, absorbed in despair.
...

The warmth, the calm, ...The peace within
The eagerness, the push, the wish to live
To share, to love, Together and free
Alas! ... In tears, I came to be.

Yawn, yawn, more yawns… Oh digidy yawn, my mouth so wide, could stuff a ton. Woke up messed up, my head... those drums. Bathtub, great munch… Yeah! Back in form! Straight up to where I left you off, I had to sleep… Don’t you agree? I tossed and turned all through the night… Tracey! Tracey! ! Till morning light.
...

That period again, the yuletide! Periods to retro twist your mind. Sober reflections, oh I must mention… the highs and lows, success… sorrows. I made the best of my Christmas day… an opportunity, I reckon, to sleep… or play.
Then came, the call… time for the mall. Great fun for all… was thrilled for sure.

I lodged in a grand hotel in style, to cap the daylong freaky miles. Time for some snacks and drinks; unwind… straight to the pool I went… reclined. Now alone, mind-boggling zone, my head tries retro-life bemoan. I fight it off with tricks I mustered, more drinks, more drinks… Oh what a cluster.

A relationship had started, a love bond sealed; one I thought my life would need. It was good, went well and all was “swell”… But all good start comes to an end. I gave her my life; she WAS my life, understanding with trust… Could be my wife. No day goes by; she’s by my side… “Without you, love, I’ll shrink and die”.

How do I let go of what we have?
The realities of my past
A moulding foundation of who I am
... The Lingering sincerity of my heart
...

13.

It's not about your money
Your pride, We all despise
For you can only flaunt your wealth...
By touching others' life
...

I dare to thread
That lonely road
A path that others dread
Though course unknown
...

The heavens and earth
In harmonious truce
The sharing alliance;
The day-night loop
...

16.

A whirl wind of wistful lust
Laden with jealous traits
Filling the void of mutual trust
The enthralling world of hate.
...

The morning rays...
Ushers in a new day
Yet another day...
Another chance to make head way.
...

From far and near, they all gathered
Like clouds before a storm
Adorned in mystic paint patterns
With fabrics, beads and guns.
...

Who am I? ...

I am like the morning breeze
... Simple, yet a complex maze.
...

I used to think...
That life was best spent all alone
Until I met YOU at my brink
... My lonely heart had found a home.

The Best Poem Of Fred Omorogbe

Attraction

The notice, the interest, the cautious gaze
The wish to meet; to love or hate
The clash of eyes, desires relate
Bloated with pride...The spineless state.

Pretend and stall, 'good looks' as bait
Daydreams with ease... Mind boggling wait
Who makes the move, for heaven's sake
No end in sight... Bold step to take.

The Armour within; courage and faith
Backed up with sweet alluring grace
Few lies with Style, Intentions made
Submissive Smile... At last... A date!
