Summer gives way to autumn,
Brilliant colors on trees fall,
The breeze swaying, cooling,
And swirling leaves from trees tall,

Mirror before me,
My reflection is insane,
Obsessed with my appearance,
My eyes are vain.

O serpent of Eden,
Why dost thou tempt me?
Seduce me to lust,
To bite the apple of the tree,

Death And A Ghost

In the middle of the street,
I spotted his pale face,
Fear overtook me,
As silence took sound’s place,

I locked eyes with the man,
We stood for a moment or two,
He reached out for my hand,
‘I’ve been waiting for you, ’

No one noticed Death and I,
I was appalled the most,
In the middle of the crowd,
Stood Death and a ghost.
