Showing on her face,
A spirit no longer wild,
Starting to fade away.

My heart continues to race,
My mind begins to swirl,
I want to leave this place,
Flee this cold world.

I have become broken,
Caused by this world again,
Inside I have died,
No one cares enough to wonder why,

I'm not sure how,
But I can see it now.
The blade against my skin,
The blood dripping again.

Torn up dreams,
Continuous screams,
Shattered hope,
Hurt that won't go,
...

I care for the ones I hold close,
But I love the one who hurts me most.
He's my everything,
Even though I'm his nothing.

I'm through crying over you,
I'm finished wishing for you to change,
I should have known you couldn't be true,
I could have saved myself the pain.
...

I've lost my way,
I can't find my heart,
I don't know how to make you stay,
We are over before we could start.

Kissing this blade,
I don't care anymore,
No reason to stay,
I'm bleeding from my core.

I wish it would leave.
I just can't understand.
It falls on me.
The choices are in my hands.
