Well the head detached and rolled across the floor
And there was nothing we could do anymore
For the whole of life, we’d said life was a bore

The scare-bird has no wings, and wears a cape.
Its beak is metallic.
His purpose it to frighten away the Straw Men and Women
Who try to climb to the clouds,

Lonelier than a single cloud in the sky
He never even got a chance to say goodbye
The view a teary haze, as the flames in the pyre rise
These monsters came and stole his love
...

This exotic alien landscape
It’s almost too much to take
Awash in color,
Unlike anything I’ve seen before
...

So long without purpose
Feeling nothing short of worthless
Wandered for a while
Tried to find the strength to smile again
