True Love Waits
There are many fish in the sea But there's only one fish for me
Sometimes I just don't know.... What am I doing this all for? Am I doing to see where I go? Or am I just trying not to bore?
I feel lost here I feel blind
People play, people lay People sit, people hit People die, people sigh People write, people fight
What is it with this life? What is it with my strife? What must come from grief? What must come from disbelief?
Leaves fall to the gentleness of the earth Waves crash on a soft sand beach Trees sway with the breath of God These wonderful actions of God
What makes me who I am? My clothes or my job? My friends or my jam? Is it possibly my blob?
Years From Now
Have you ever thought About your life years from now? Will you be on a yacht? Will you be living with a cow?
It's gonna be alright It won't be such a climb There's no need to fight But now its time
The First Time
Time passes too fast Moving closer to the end I look back at the past Something forgotten at every bend
What is a true friend? Are they the people that I see every day? Will they be there until the end? Will they stick by me when things don't go my way?
The way is hard If you really want to take up your cross You have to move past the yard And listen or it's your loss
Some people have all the luck Even though they don't deserve it They can spare much more than a buck And they use it for things they see fit
A bright light Where is it coming from? It’s making me lose sight What is this light?

True Love Waits
There are many fish in the sea
But there's only one fish for me
I might not see it when swims
But it will shine when the light dims
Until that moment I wait,
Waiting for something to eat the bait
Because there's more to fishing than catching one
You can't stop until you've caught 'the one'
Some may nibble and run
Those are the ones that are there for fun.
One day one will come
And it will nibble some
But it'll want more and more
And that's when you know what its for.
