Faith Poem by Jacob Bland

Faith

The way is hard
If you really want to take up your cross
You have to move past the yard
And listen or it's your loss

These days have made much pain
whether physical or mental
The way he speaks puts some strain
but the end shall be gentle

The narrow path
Many think it's not that bad
But just do the math
Many will find themselves sad

Not many follow the path
The road less traveled
They fall to the evil one's wrath
And will soon find themselves raveled

But the few who follow
The few who go through the pains & trials
Will not find their purpose hollow
But will end in the land of golden tiles

This choice is yours
Do you go narrow or wide
Its time to choose which one of the doors
Just take one step and start your stride
