you remain in my heart

You'd likely still be the nicest part

A lover knows death many times over
They die each time they are passed over
Dreaming of a lover's touch
Passion among the cool grass and clover

I want a love that's like a faded pair of jeans
The kind that's washed and worn so many times
and fits so comfortably, just right
like a part of me, but not pulling or tearing at the seams

You greet people with a smile
You offer your soft hand, with style
but you're plotting all the while
like a lawer baits a jury at a trial
...

The horizon has changed
the rivers are changing direction
the stars are falling from the sky
I try to go on living but though I try
...

Fall
It's where I want to be
With geese flying in formation
Quacking as they fly in 'V' shapes
...

Though I feel alone
which is my way
I feel also blessed
This Fall day
...

Some laugh and say
Internet romance isn't real
I say OK
But inside, my heart knows
