welcome each precious moment
Life is a blessing

A woodland place of all things pleasing
Soft green grass that moves with the breeze,
Those melancholy sounds, are so appealing
Of wild, free birds upon the trees.

The bees and the butterflies mingled,
On that beautiful summer's day,
The sky looked as blue as the ocean,
Not a single cloud got in its way.
...

Daisy chains and buttercups,
Memories of a childhood day,
Running to the nearby park,
Precious days in every way.
...

Each new day brings hope,
Never giving up on dreams,
Hoping they come true.
...

Oh yellow daffodil,
My sweet emblem of wales,
You stand there in sunshine,
Through fine days and gales.

Forget you?
Never in a million years.
For it's you that I could turn to,
to banish all my fears.
...

Memorable thoughts of endless fun,
Sand of gold and trees of green,
Ice cream in the brightest sun,
It really was a pleasant scene.

Lost amongst a sea of faces,
The day has dawned,
A young heart races,
Summer holidays are over,
...

Never will I, forget that day,
Mum, met me at the school gate in the usual way,
The thick mist filled the air,
It was such a damp, dreary October day,
