Wouldn't it be sublime,
To see rainbows ahead everyday...it'd truly be devine,

Like a promise of a perfect day;

A lonely knight lingers by the river Lough Ree in the forest green,
Awaiting on his beauty fair, who is yet unseen;

When he finds himself alone, he ponders why love has eluded him this way,

Lady Di stands by the window of her ivory tower;
While she ponders the loss of all her power,
Her marriage to Charles has brought too much pain,
She never knew their lives had to endure such strain,

Gone now are those hot summer days;
When we camped & swam in cool lakes & rivers,
They now give way to colorful leaves on display,
There's a chill in the air too that makes one shiver;

I'm a tiny hummingbird fast as can be,
I fly so fast that I'm almost invisible to see,
But my brilliant colors of emerald, mauve & blue sometimes give me away;
While I spend my time out amongst the lovely blooms spinning like a wheel on any given day,

Just as a delicate chrysalis changes in form,
We too frequently modify our lives becoming reborn,
Both having a fragile start in life to live & ponder,
Eventually turning into God's works of wonder;

There seems to be a doomsday rumor out there,
Saying our world ends on Dec.21,2012....so beware,
I'm here to dispel this myth; as it's simply not true,
According to the Mayan calendar it looks at some point like all is through,

There's a blazing sunset out on Malta's Gozo Island;
Where golden rays glow like fire in the sky & below upon the sea,
Offering a sweet repose that makes me feel free;
Where the twilight shines on through an open rocky archway;
