Jeanne Antoinette Tyler Biography

Do you really want to know about me? I make up poems on the spot. They never rhyme. They don't have to rhyme! ! ! ! ! I read Shakespeare daily. I'm half mental. I'm completely mental. Shut up. You shut up! I like Doctor Who, though I may seem like a creepy person in some of my poems.)

Why Does It Hurt

Why does it hurt?

The question asked by many
but never answered correctly
When realization
Finds you in the cold
When the pang of hurt
Leaves you to die
When the subtle hints
Flash before your eyes

Why does it hurt?

Why does it hurt
I once believed in it
That one day I would find it
That one day it would break the pain
Break the pain of reality
But it is reality

Why does it hurt?

Why won't the power stop
When all feeling leaves my body
But one remains
Pain

Why does it hurt?

You threw me to the side
I was but one of many
The streets are filled with us

Why does it hurt?

You fooled us
You tricked us
You left us to die

Why does it hurt?

And now, we leave you to die
Death comes quickly to those
Who leave behind all sense
Who care not of the feelings of others
Who care not of the time spent with them
Who care not of the people who did care
But cares only of himself

Why does it hurt?

Worry not, my lover
It will hurt
The final flick of my hand
And the pain will rush through you
And you will leave this world
And you will see the answer
Asked by many

Why does it hurt?

The blow of Death
May God choose the right path
For your lonely heart.
