being proven that I'm wrong.

I was lonely, upset and broken,
I had nothing to be done or spoken.
You changed my life to a better version,
And taught me to fly when I was fallen.

In whispered echoes of yesteryears gone by,
I find myself beneath a mournful sky.
Once cherished, once held in your tender light,
Now shadows linger, veiling my sight.

In the fading light of days now past,
Old good deeds linger, memories cast.
Once noble acts, now shadows worn,
In the quiet of dusk, they're gently torn.

In whispered sighs, I humbly speak,
Words heavy, as tears trace a streak.
'Sorry, I disappoint you, ' I say,
As shadows lengthen, in the fading day.

I took some of our memories,
And tied them by beautiful threads,
