Struggle Poem by Joh Venture

Struggle

Rating: 5.0

I'm fighting & I'm losing,
trying my best to be strong.
I'm falling & I'm failing,
being proven that I'm wrong.

I'm screaming & I'm drowning,
falling to my knees & crying.
I'm lying & I'm pretending,
but deep down I know I'm dying.

I'm running & I'm frightened,
I've already lost the fight.
I'm slowing & I'm stopping,
giving it the greatest delight.

A melancholy poem. Oozing pessimism. But we should remember that a little child learns to walk, falling down a hundred times. So we have to retain our optimism.
