The cheeks that seek kisses,
Scars are what they find.
I know it's your love,
But can it be more kind?

My future is painted with fog,
Hovering over the mountain of your expectations.
And the pain of your constant chiding,
For which I have no explanations.

Each moment gets darker,
my eyes have lost their shine.
It has turned into a nightmare now,
The dream I used to call mine.

Have you ever tried to hear
the things I wanted to say?
Have you ever tried to listen
to voices in my head?
I'm too scared to speak now,
For I see my faith without a fate.

Sobbing by the window sill,
I'm just unable to decide.
My tears continue to flow,
Like the stream we used to love,
I thought I was your pride.

I still believe I can,
Just once, let me try.
And if I ever falter,
Just leave me to cry.

I know I'm not perfect,
I may fail to do my part.
But come what may,
I'll never break your heart.

Stretch your arms wide open,
Give me some room.
And in that heart of yours
You'll see my floret bloom.
