A dog does not judge, scold, or criticize the real you,
They enjoy when you act foolish, and will in turn act foolish too.
A dog does not cheat, feign, deceive or conspire to betray,
Their only aspiration is to win your everlasting love and praise.

May the roads you travel be trouble free,
clear of pitfalls, obstacles, and debris.
May love fuel your engines, and your tank never run dry,
so remember to show it often; or at least always try.

We will meet again one sunny day, in a field of green where puppies play.
You shall see us coming from afar, and dash with excitement to where we are.
With a wagging tail and funny grin, we shall laugh and play once again.
Until then we’ll be apart, but you’ll always reside within our hearts.
