That she felt out of place.

Kicking a can, down the old dirt road,
Where tandem trucks, carried their loads.
Down to the stream to soak my feet,
Sure feels good in this beastly heat.

thou fadest fast,
Thine gift is fleeting,
It does not last.

I dream of flight, at night,
higher than any feathered bird.
Climbing, climbing out of sight,
higher than you've ever heard.

One single tear,
Holds a whole world.
Salty and full of emotions,
From deep in your soul.

What is the nature of the beast?
To tear and rend with claws.
And then to sit down to a feast,
It's one of natures laws.
