Nature Of The Beast Poem by Juan Olivarez

Nature Of The Beast

Rating: 5.0

What is the nature of the beast?
To tear and rend with claws.
And then to sit down to a feast,
It's one of natures laws.

And you would tame a savage breast,
What kind of fool be you?
Twill be the day you breathe your last,
You know this to be true.

But in your folly you persist,
Searching around for your demise.
But it's natures call you can't resist,
You'll never live, to become wise.

If you would listen to the words,
Of experience from the past.
Then your mind would break the cords,
And maybe your life would last.

Like this one. A beast comes in many forms. Take a look at my poem called, the beast.
