Hi I use to have an account here years ago and due to technology I lost said account which is why I am now here on this one, hence the number 2, I have grown since then and now own my Facebook page dedicated to poetry I have a nickname and its Kat, hence the name of my group there, I am looking forward to being here once again and since leaving have written even more poems which is why it as brought me full circle to being back here. I continue to write and hope when I start to post you will enjoy my writes and my imagination, I intend to repost those in my group and many more I love to write and I love sharing my work this is a new start here look forward to comments have a great day.)

I Am....

I am.....
I am of Cook Island decent
I am a kiwi born in Aotearoa
I am a single mother
I am a sister, a cousin, an aunt
I am human
I am a poet
I am all of these things
And I am proud of
Who I am and who I have become
The Land of the White Cloud
Is the only home I have ever known
But I embrace my ancestors
I also embrace my home
Aotearoa I am proud
To be a Kiwi in all
Its ethne tic diversity
I am ME
People tell me....
You can only love others
If you love yourself
This is so true.....
I am a good person.....
Loving....
Caring....
Thoughtful....
Giving....
Thank you
For seeing in me
What I could not
As I was growing up
Those were words
I never used on myself
I now know who I am.... I am all of those
And more....finally I know who I am
