Laying in my bed at night
My room is filled to the brim with fright
Pitch black and scary, thoughts making me wary,
I grip my pillow tight.

Some may call me odd or mad
But numerous conversations I've had
Just between myself and my mind
The deep and insightful kind

Where were you when I felt so alone?

The first time they go together
