For it lies deep within the skin,

Fear that it will never end,

that feeling you get when he's around,
suddenly your feet aren't touching the ground.
you get sudden urges to kiss him,
and those silly little arguments where you always seem to win.

i sit in my room
and i contemplate
why do they all assume?
i truly am not doing all this out of hate

it hurts to see you go
i didn't even know any of you
the growing numbers start to show
the younger ones hardly have a clue
