1.

The smell of the trees
The earth; so soft
I fall to my knees as the moon shines aloft
...

2.

Is it an end?
Is it only the start?
It’s one or the other
And one breaks my heart
...

3.

The moon is full
The sun is up
The car is fast
But you speedup
...

4.

How can this be?
Your spirit died
Your eyes are blank
Sparks set aside
...

The Best Poem Of Malorie Mendez

Tears

The smell of the trees
The earth; so soft
I fall to my knees as the moon shines aloft

My fingers in dirt
The sweet smell of freshness
My eyes start to hurt
With the tingle of wetness

The tears hit my dress
The black silk that brings terror
My thoughts are a mess
He knows of his error

He will never again
See my pain nor my fear
My choice is now clear
And I shed my last tear
