I had an uncontrollable itch

Why do you suffer in the dark?

and a force nine Beaufort gale picks up

Happier than light when it glows
I look and measure the stars

Luminosity is only a melting snow

I've curled up and listened to the night
Pining away with fright

And return to switch back on the light.
