The mask of pure deceit
The devil seeks to spread his lies
Amongst the Lord’s elite

God’s Promise from His throne on high
Has come to us as guest
He brings us talents none can buy
Through which the bride is blessed

Without the Lord these eyes were blind
My life was filled with dread
Such foolish things would cloud my mind
I wished that I were dead

“Please can I see the doctor now
Or is he out on call
My heart’s so hurt I don’t know how
