(001) In waiting..........

Education in Kenya for the poor folk:
Nothing but, going with dragging legs,
Eager eyes, grieving minds and
Empty stomaches...craving for
The 'Sole morsel' of the day
Free from their schools,
That too to be shared in their families
Where education is the means of ends
And a philosophy untold by forefathers....
We Indians can dream the same
When things happen in this way....
We import things when our farms are left barren
And farmers are left gaping for
Better seeds....Or rebirth!

A poem dedicated to Sandhya SN

Very beautiful lines on the status of the people of Kenya
One of the deprived folks in the world
Sure, As you told we may understand their sufferings more that any other, since we had gone through such sufferings. Still we have such a cross section in our remote villages.
I appreciate your indignation that too, for the people far away from us.
These genuine universal outlooks gives the evidence of humanitarians, even though they had already been recorded in the red data book.
    congrats! ! !
thank you my dear friend for dedicating this poem to me too..
    regards
