Along life's tedious journey,
You keep trying on and discarding masks
Until you ultimately grow
Into the one which suits you best

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Or perhaps the masks are taken off one at a time until the real 'you' is revealed in all its perfection. As a once upon a time actor, I am particularly touched by images of the theatrical. As Hamlet says of the players 'They are the abstracts and brief chroniclers of the time.' Your insightful poem has certainly got me thinking... love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
