Where this earth is,
Makes us delight in just one mind
See the world with a shortened breath
And spy the new moon.
Stand before sleep
And learn that it is not death
But the flesh is wild and may change its course
Without notice, reason or rhyme.
'Sigh' I hear and closes in
Slips past the eye without further sound
The watching embers in the hearth grow dull and
Their fuelling heat diminishes
A colder world is left behind
