119. A Foolish Girl Faked Her Own Life Poem by Jaden Knight

119. A Foolish Girl Faked Her Own Life

she wanted to be so popular
her tiny mind ached for attention
she could not stand being left alone

A web of lies she started to weave
not caring who got snared or not
not bothered who got hurt
as long as she was not ignored

She started to push her friends away
as she thought she was better than them
didn’t even realise the truth
that they were all she needed

In the end there was no one left
as everyone turned their backs
she was left all alone
a liar exposed
sobbing in the dark

In her vain attempt
she lost all her friends
no one wanted to talk to her or hear her speak
her nightmare had come true
just not in the way she thought

A foolish girl faked her own life
she wanted to be so popular
her tiny mind ached for attention
all she ended up with is being ignored
had to bury her past and carry on
maybe she’ll learn in future

i assume the title stands in for the 'missing' first line of stanza one. interesting! a well-told story. foolish girl! ! ! poor thing. maybe she WILL survive and learn. i wonder if this is the person from your poem about grotesque face? i like the repeat of these lines: A foolish girl faked her own life she wanted to be so popular despite the pain she caused others and finally herself, remember she had a tiny mind. she undoubtedly deserves some of your pity, but stay clear of her for now! to MyPoemList it goes! bri :)
