118. Broken Mirror On The Wall Poem by Jaden Knight

118. Broken Mirror On The Wall

Rating: 5.0

Broken mirror on the wall
who is the most angry of us all
through the pieces that remain
I demand an answer

Through your cracks and facets tell me
do you reflect me
or am I a reflection of you
are you just a shadow of what I should be
do you show what I am on the inside
or what I’m supposed to look like

Do you show the truth
or are you a superficial tool of lies
are you just slave to women and the vain
or is there a positive use

Will you stop staring at me
haven’t you caused enough pain
wordlessly insulting me
though I look better than you say
right I’ve had enough
I will smash you completely

Broken mirror upon the wall
all your pieces scattered on the floor
I am the angriest of us all
and since I’ve put out your eyes
mixing with blood and dust
you cannot see
you cannot lie
