1825 days; my mind overflows of memories of you
Only one to break the heart where I had roots
With you, I felt complete
And together we won when faced with defeat
It was you that illuminated my soul
Built me up only to swallow me whole
Yes, I'm still filled with sadness
Sometimes I miss your love, warmth and caress
I thought we'd walk hand in hand
In darkness and happiness and footprints in the sand
We shared thoughts and dreams
All the places we'd go; all serene
Always you were my ray of sun
My heart beat only for you; you were the only one
You were my star and my moon
Together we were supposed to be very soon
Gave you everything of me
Yet it wasn't enough that you had to break free
Didn't know I was placing myself in danger
Even now I am still full of hurt and anger
For Love blinds even the clearest eyes
At times I'm at peace; other times I cry
The invisible scar still remains
This pain, all I feel is betrayal and pain
Your last words tore me apart
They withered my loving heart
Grow together you said
But all of your promises you lived to forget
