.2. Reaching The Peak Poem by David Threadgold

.2. Reaching The Peak

On a cold icy rock face
Their picks and some ropes
Stood three mountaineers
With ambitions and hopes

The air was so thin
Laboured breath they all seek
And with one final push
All three reached the peak
