As long as the waves crash
upon the lonely beach and the gulls cry out
as they soar over the sand and rocks
I will remain at my post

As long as the stars remain in the sky
and the moon continues to look down
a silent watcher in the night
I will remain faithful

As long as the fire continues to burn
throwing out it's light and heat
warming those who surround it
I will be your comforter

As long as the bells do not cease ringing
shouting their happy songs to all who listen
I will always love you
and hope that one day at a special time
they will sing for the two of us
