25th Anniversary Act I Poem by JoAnn McGrath

25th Anniversary Act I

You see they took a coach trip to Ireland
A thanks to each other for giving their hands
But after a few days of travel
the scene starts to unravel

They stopped to see an entertainer again
and this is where the fun begins
The entertainer decided to pick four souls
Irish dancing was their goal.

Dave thought he would remain unseen
if he lit a cigarette off scene
He even handed one to his friend
But they both were picked in the end

Also a girl named Pat
All of 5 feet tall in stat
Can you imagine 6ft 3in Dave here
Irish dancing with Pat...I fear....
(An issue on his height appears)

His wife was all ready to capture the event.
A video camera to take movies was her intent
But the story moves on from here
On to another new Pub with cheer

JoAnn sorry it took me a bit of time to get around to reviewing this. I love the way you put my actions into words. Brilliant. Top marks if I could give them. Dodgy Dave
