.3. Climbing The Ladder Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Climbing The Ladder

Rating: 5.0

Start on the first rung
Step up when you can
Don’t climb to high
Till you’ve worked out a plan

Know what you want
And how to get there
Don’t climb over others
If you really care

Your time will come
When praises are sung
And then you will know
You can move up one rung

I've only been in the work force for 3 years but have found you get trampled as others rush to climb that same ladder. Great poem, true that
