.3. Dangerous Nails Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Dangerous Nails

Rating: 5.0

The trusty old nail
What a clever creation
In shop after shop
Throughout our vast nation

But when handled carelessly
Mass devastation
Tyres find on roads
Causing instant deflation

Nails sometimes fix things
Or join things together
But nails through a water-pipe
Isn’t too clever
