Copper kettle boiling hot
Over the blazing fire
Blackened bottom nearly shot
Repair it will require
Steam clouds slowly rising
Bring tea to me now laddy
Put three measures in the pot
The spoons within the caddy
Copper kettle then to pot
Let’s make a welcome brew
Now pour the water very hot
Enough for me and you
