3 Trees Poem by John McCornack

3 Trees

Down by the North Canadian south of Route 66
Sunset memories in my soul come flooding back
Glorious colors, from deep turquoise to hot pink
Fill the western sky while the wild ducks quack

For this is a special place to unwind and enjoy
The natural beauty provided for my dreamland
A sunset and a simple tree can be so wonderful
I am happy and glad I live in such a great land

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

You did a good job of sharing your special place. I've got one of those two, your poem kind of inspires me to take pen to paper. Thanks, L&T
