Light from a window
Shone down on the street
A man in a raincoat
With pools at his feet
Was standing alone
Where shadows are cast
Waiting for someone
To move or walk past
A flame showed his face
When he lit a cigar
All rugged and worn
With the signs of a scar
What does he want?
Will he seal someone’s fate?
When footsteps approach
He kisses his date

Rambling Riddles & Rhymes
A scene right out of a movie. Wonderful vision, well penned and full of the image you wanted us to see.

You make every moment live Dave - and add lots of mystery into the bargain. Good one again.
