Sweet memories
Bitter fears
Sleepless nights
Woeful spears
Those nightmares
Abandonment,
Heartfelt love
Entrapment
Dawn is lost
Deep ocean bed
Cactus thrives
In barren sands

the juxaposition of images in this poem are beautiful, the contrasts of 'Sweet memories/Bitter fears' with the link to 'Sleepless nights' extending into 'Woeful spears/ Those nightmares' and the identification of Abandonment, Heartfelt love and Entrapment; personify the nightmare of the hurt and pain in love disintegrating and the pain of turmoil in love hurt relationships. I especially love the ending of this poem 'Entrapment Dawn is lost Deep ocean bed Cactus thrives In barren sands' which has images I especially adore.

always remember to be kind to yourself Nalini, especially when there are problems and the world is no kind. Still wishing you a wonderfully happy 2017.

Thanks much dear poet! I don't know sometimes deeply what churns that I have to write my lines, seems you opened locks to my own subconscious self! Thanks a bunch
