His nose shone like a beacon
Bright red it lit the night
To lead a team of reindeer
Through sky’s to give a light
Lighting up house numbers
Some nothing but a name
Shining on the sack of gifts
So no one gets the same
Illuminating snowflakes
As they go drifting by
Helping Santa find his way
And across the world they fly
The other reindeer see his nose
And follow Rudolf’s lead
To get their job done in good time
Fulfilling each child’s needs
The final present there on time
Santa reached his goal
With a Ho Ho Ho and a cheery smile
Flew back to a cold north pole

I do love this one so much, David. Christmas is such a wonderful time and takes me back to my childhood with my brother whom I miss so much. Good ole' Rudolph, what would Santa have done with out him? Delightful poem and a '10+! ' Warm Wishes, Marilyn
