My shed full of shelves
Holding so many jars
With odd bits and bobs
Off so many past cars
All saved just in case
I should need them one day
Mixed up together
Stored safely away
Nuts, bolts and screws
Rusty tin tacks and nails
With fittings galore
Off our old curtain rails
An old card of fuse wire
But now we have breakers
So there it will sit
And may never get takers
Now when I need something
I look at the stars
And buy yet more rubbish
To fill yet more jars
