I tightened up the handles
And all the blooming lock’s
I tightened up the driver’s seat
And other one that rocks
I tightened up the headlamps
And rusty old roof rack
I tightened up the bonnet catch
And boot lid at the back
I tightened up the wiper blades
Plus rattling metal grill
I tightened up the fan belt
It spun round like a mill
I tightened up the steering
Of course the track rod ends
I tightened up the brake shoes
And pipes at all the bends
I tightened up my trousers
Much better than it feels
I tightened up when my car fell off
Those four untightened wheels
