710. My Inspiration Comes In Waves Poem by Jaden Knight

My inspiration comes in waves
lapping gently on the beach of my mind
providing nourishment to the tiny creatures
playing happily in the surf

Most of the time the weather is calm
and the sun shines every day
the full moon illuminates the sea at night
while everything tries to get a peaceful sleep

Occasionally ideas will come in like a tsunami
threatening all within its path
drowning the beach with fast flowing water
swamping the golden sands with dark seaweed

For now the scene is peaceful
as the tides come and go as they please
each one bringing new possibilities
as my inspiration comes in waves
