712.Greedy's Books Poem by Jaden Knight

712.Greedy's Books

The wizard Pellendro taught his pet dragon to read
as his wings were too small for flight
named Greedy due to his love of food
and his constantly ferocious appetite

It was given a small library to feed its mind
with the hope it would read the books
and so be judged by his intelligence
and not be his gormless looks

Every book he finished he would consume
chewing and swallowing every page
this upset Pellendro greatly
and he flew into a terrifying rage

Greedy smiled and said to him
"I am only doing what I think is best
this way I am feeding both body and mind
although the information is quite hard to digest"
