Why did you go?
My heart stops beating
Like a winter without snow

The music takes over
Where has it gone?
No memory of the rhythm
Or the lyrics to our song

Swept far away
To the land of forgotten dreams
Nothing is how i remembered
Nothing is how it seems

Because you start off together
You and him Vs the world
He your only one
You his only girl

But then his passion for drink
The Devil takes over
Trading in a home
For the life of a rover

So tell your next love
Not to do what i have done
Fall in love with a man
Who drinks to the rising sun.
