the world sparkles, sings and shines
as sunrays splinter thick white clouds
heralding the break of a brand new day
birds and bees, sing as they rush by
so much to accomplish have we they say
in this small and tiny day
my spirit though is heavy and weary
burdened with lifetimes of pain
all i want is to rest now
wish to find my peace finally
in the haven of your arms
in the circle of your love...
to lay my weary head down
forever to stay.
Lovely imagery in this piece Virginia, it has a dream like quality to it, thanks, Lynda xx
