93 million miles away
that is the math
the truth they say
how is it that
the sun at midday
is so much smaller
than the evening
full ray
light casting down
to the Earth at such angle
surely it's close
where it does dangle
Once as a kid I did not
get this, I made a model
that was approved by physicists
two small balls so far apart
like two pin pricks on a paper
and that's just a start
93 million
a humbling sum
a number so big
we must be dumb
I think it's close
and 'they' all lie
I'll guess I see it
the day I die
