977 Missing You Love Poem by V F

977 Missing You Love

Rating: 5.0

Why did you go my dearest?
Ever since you have gone,
I am lost in this dense fog of melancholy
I lie forsaken between life and living
On the burning sands of passion
My love for you burns steadily
As a lighthouse during a gale
But the flowers seem to be wilting
The sun burns just too fiercely
The wind is listless, uncaring,
And the birds songs have lost their charm
Nothing seems right, just nothing
I am parched and thirsting
Come drench me,
Love me with your eyes, voice, and smile
Till I am brimming and alive once again.
So that the sunshine of your smile warms my soul
The flowers smile prettily in my eyes
And the soft breeze caresses my cheek and hair,
As your loving gaze loves me till I die, of joy.
