A Ballet With Death Poem by Nithin Jacob

A Ballet With Death

Rating: 5.0

In a cold misty day when you die,
Before you could close your eyes,
Memoirs flash before your eyes
On your day, flare with a wistful sense
Your friends & their profiles in a community
Some are popular and few not known
Your memories take you through the 90’s
You had fun, played games, shared harms
Now there is a tear in your eye, it’s deep

Because you have nobody to talk to
They all have gone leaving a mark aside

You lost your close friends in a calamity
It has gone and it was faster than a blaze
You see your album for the last moment
Bear a memory which soaks the snap
Years & times you traveled across the sea
Day has come and waiting for the moment
Your soul is flaming & looks up with defeat
They don’t expect you to be here any longer
They are waiting for you to depart from here

Because you have nobody to talk to
They all have gone leaving a mark aside

Memories will haunt your past
And it will prick your feelings
It may ask you questions
You hope if you could act them again
But it’s too late, because they say,
Before you close your eyes eternally
And before you could realize its sense
You seal your eyes with a smile…
An everlasting smile set on your face…

Because you have nobody to talk to
They all have gone leaving a mark side…
