A Beaten Path
i tread on this hard path
laid down by my experiences
experiences gives birth to opinions
layer after layer
on and of the same opinion
a hard path i lay
to walk on it with
a thudding assurance
not straying
not looking
hither or thither
i walk on this beaten path
sadly..
out of love or what
i know not
all my experiences go
all the way out
to strengthen and pamper
my opinions to say
'see i told you so'
hampering my true vision
of the experiences
all my experiences go a waste
am made to take the beaten path
all the way...through life
Fate is invincible, my dear! Nobody can escape it! Well expressed about your path!
our opinions one path...our experiences the other one...we are often forced to take the latter path; the former we prefer though this write holds a truthful message within...thanks
